Joey Jarvis

My name is Joey Jarvis.  I was born and raised in Beeson, WV, a suburb of beautiful Lashmeet, WV (AKA a holler).

I have been married to my wife Rhonda for 25+ years.  We went on two dates and eloped in Pearisburg, VA.  We have two great kids – Samantha and Nick.  Plus, we have so many furry babies that we adopted from shelters.

Radio has always been my “Dream Job”!  For real, I grew up loving radio DJ’s and all of the funny stuff they’d do.  You can check the Princeton Senior High School yearbook from 1993 and see that my career plan was to be a radio DJ.

I love hanging out here in the studios of the Eagle and playing classic rock!

Favorite Artists – AC/DC, Pantera, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, and The Black Crowes, to name a few.  If it’s loud and real “Rock N’ Roll,” I love it!

Hobbies – I love getting tattoos.  I have 7 so far and I have no plans to stop. I love riding my motorcycle.  Most importantly, I love going to church at Scott Street Baptist Church and learning about the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Favorite Movie – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
